Let’s not forget, the point of this meeting is to get governments to agree on a text related to the elimination of discrimination and violence against girls.
Here is a copy of the draft conclusions. The main agenda of the CSW is primarily about working on this document, modifying it, and getting everyone to agree before March 9. Forty-five governments have representatives here.
Some of the meetings are open (NGOs can watch, and make statements if they submitted them in advance) and some are closed. The document is only 8 pages long, but the exact wording of every paragraph is up for discussion.
